In the last 3 weeks, Arise has grown by 150 people, with at least 38 decisions for Christ, 41 guest units, 6 physical healings, and 2 baptisms in the Holy Spirit.

Why I don’t “believe in something” and why you shouldn’t either.

This is not a post about Colin Kaepernick, kneeling or Nike. This is just an observation about the slogan.

“Be yourself,” “chase your dreams,” and “follow your heart” seem to be the mantra of modern America. And this Nike slogan is just the next wave of agreement to the same doctrine.

Is the American Church Becoming a Mausoleum?

When traveling, Ada and I love to visit old churches. This is especially true in Europe and Israel where the churches can be over 1,000 years old. For instance, while in Ireland last year we visited at least a dozen old churches. St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Christ’s Church Cathedral where two of the famous ones. But we also visited old churches in small towns all over Ireland. The architecture, the stained glass, and the art are simply incredible.
